Has Jena Malone’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Role Been Revealed?

Earlier today, we heard a rumor that Callan Mulvey would be playing KGBeast in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, hot on the heels of that scoop, we're hearing that another role in the film has potentially been revealed. Earlier today, we heard a rumor that Callan Mulvey would be playing KGBeast in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, hot on the heels of that scoop, we’re hearing that another role in the film has potentially been revealed. Like the Mulvey rumor, this is unconfirmed, but Latino Review believes that Jena Malone will be playing none other than Barbara Gordon, Commissioner James Gordon’s daughter.

The actress has been rumored for several parts already, including Robin and Carrie Kelley, but this most recent report says that three sources confirm that she’s in fact playing Barbara, which means that she may suit up as Batgirl or become Oracle somewhere down the line, as she did in the comics.

Unfortunately, at this point, we have no idea how the character will be develop, all we know is that she will apparently show up in the film in some capacity. And seeing as Malone is on her way to becoming a pretty big Hollywood star, I can only imagine that she won’t just have a small cameo. I’m betting that Gordon will factor into the plot heavily if not in Dawn of Justice then in future films in the DC Cinematic Universe.

Whatever the case may be, all will be revealed when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theatres on March 25th, 2016.
