Hitfix has announced that Jessica Chastain will shoot another, yet to be announced film, in February before she moves onto the untitled Joseph Kosinski and Tom Cruise film. Hitflix claims to know what the project is, but could not reveal it yet.

The Kosinski and Cruise film, which is now untitled, after having the working titles of Oblivion and Horizons, will shoot from March 12th to August 12th this year. It would make sense that Chastain won’t be needed every day on set of the Kosinski film, as Cruise is the main lead. Due to this, that may give her a little over 6 weeks to shoot this new unannounced film.

Hitfix described the project as “absolutely high profile”, but with the short time frame of the shoot, it would make sense that the film may be independent.

Chastain has been changing genres with every new film she does, having done prohibition film with Wettest County, poetry film with Tar and horror film with Mama, as well as a small role in the new Terrence Malick film. On top of that, the Kosinski film is a sci-fi and she also as the biopic Caught In Flight, in development.

So, with that being said, what will her new film be? A musical, animation, a foreign language film, or possibly Denis Villeneuve‘s The Darling, which she also has in development.

We’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
