While filming isn’t scheduled to conclude until October 20th later this year, Chastain – who’ll be portraying Beverly Marsh in the movie – took to Instagram on Friday and informed each and every Loser following her that she’d indeed wrapped production on the much anticipated sequel.

Unfortunately, though, it’ll still be quite a while before Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Bill Skarsgård) is shimmying and shaking again on the big screen, as IT: Chapter Two – which, by the way, has Andy Muschietti back at the helm – isn’t slated for release until September 6th next year. In the meantime, though, feel free to check out Chastain’s video below.

From what we understand, the plot of IT: Chapter Two will stem from the pact that the Losers’ Club made to reunite if Pennywise ever returned, hoping to stop him once and for all. Given the horrible shit they went through in the first film, though, it’s understandable that they’d be reluctant to tangle with him again, with some members of the group taking the call to action worse than others.

All things considered, I can’t see any reason why this sequel won’t capture precisely the same magic that took the original to the box office stratosphere, and that movie didn’t even boast a cast as impressive as this. As such, all signs point to IT: Chapter Two being another monster hit when it opens on September 6th, 2019. The only question that remains is, are you ready to float again?
