The True Blood actor talks briefly about the possibility of working with Zack Snyder and possibly working with the director in his new Superman reboot: Superman: Man of Steel.

He was very complimentary of Snyder, saying:

He’s an unbelievable director, I’m a huge fan of 300. [It] would be up to them – but I’d be honored.

I liked Superman Returns, yeah it was flawed, and wasn’t nearly as action packed as we hoped but it was entertaining, so I’d like to see Brandon Routh retake the cap and actually given a chance to show what he can do. However it doesn’t look like that will happen. So Manganiello could definitely be the guy. On a side note, I find it funny how he played Flash Thompson in the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.

Before anyone gets excited though he is not negotiating for the role as some have previously suggested, just tossing his name out there with many others. What do you guys think?
