Jon Hamm Will Join Larry David In Upcoming Greg Mottola Comedy

According to The Playlist, Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm is set to star in an upcoming comedy from director Greg Mottola, which already has Larry David attached to the lead role.

With some time on his hands due to AMC’s hit show being on hiatus, Hamm is busy lining up a number of projects to build up his filmography with. He already has the lead role in Disney’s Million Dollar Arm, he’ll star in The Young Doctor’s Handbook with Daniel Radcliffe and he also has a comedy called Dumb Jock from director Paul Feig.

The upcoming Mottola directed comedy that Hamm has signed onto is still untitled but it’s said to be partially improvised. While plot details aren’t too clear right now, we do know that Hamm will play David’s nemesis.

Personally, I think this is an interesting choice for Jon Hamm, he doesn’t get too many chances to flex his comedic muscles and the fact that the film will be partially improved could work out well. We all know that Larry David is absolutely hilarious and to see him and Hamm playing off each other should be a real treat.

What do you think? Looking forward to seeing Jon Hamm do some more comedic work?
