Jonah Hill And Channing Tatum Cast In 21 Jump Street Movie

Today Doug Belgrad, President of Columbia Pictures, announced that both Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are set to star in the film 21 Jump Street, which will provide a contemporary take on the classic TV series. Hill and Tatum are also executive producers with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller directing the feature.

Doug Belgrad had this to say about the recent casting news,

“Jonah helped create a smart and funny vehicle that is tailor-made for him and Channing. They are a perfect duo for this film and Phil and Chris have a terrific, accessible take on the material. We love how this movie has come together and are very excited to begin production this spring.”

When asked about a possible Johnny Depp cameo, Hill said:

“We wrote a cameo for [Johnny Depp,] so we hope he does it,” Jonah explained.
