For months now there has been speculation that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be playing Robin in Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises, despite the announcement that he was cast as John Blake.

Rumors have been circulating that this announcement was only meant to cover up his real role, leaving something for fans to be surprised about when they finally see the film next summer.

Well, it looks like those rumours just won’t die. Gordon-Levitt recently sat down for an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz and kept the rumor mill churning.  When asked about the possible switch-up, Gordon-Levitt answered with “you know I can’t have this conversation,” which only added fuel to the fire.

Check out the interview and make your own conclusion!
