Granted unprecedented access to the New York Times newsroom, Rossi gives us a riveting look at one of the world’s most well known newspapers. Critics have been throwing around words like enthralling, inspiring and must-see in regards to the film and though I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, it’s high on my list of films to see.

Magnolia Pictures recently released a video from the film’s New York premiere and it features interviews with a number of journalists voicing their opinion on the film. Reactions sound pretty positive and it only heightens my excitement. I always enjoy a good documentary and Page One: Inside The New York Times looks like it could be right up my alley.

When documentaries are done well, they can be just as compelling and dramatic as any big Hollywood blockbuster, especially when you’re particularly interested in the topic. I think it’s a safe bet that the vast majority of you are at least familiar with The New York Times and the significance and impact it has on our society. It makes for an interesting documentary subject and I’m eager to see how Rossi tackles it in his film.
