Never Before Seen Justice League Concept Art Reveals A New Character

Love it or hate it, a Justice League movie finally exists. Personally, I found it to be a highly entertaining and enjoyable action flick - but it wasn't quite the epic my favorite characters deserved. In other words, I'm not holding my breath for something on the level of, say, Crisis on Two Earths or Starcrossed in the live action realm.

Love it or hate it, a Justice League movie finally exists. Personally, I found it to be a highly entertaining and enjoyable action flick – but it wasn’t quite the epic my favorite characters deserved. In other words, I’m not holding my breath for something on the level of, say, Crisis on Two Earths or Starcrossed in the live action realm.

Personal opinions aside, I’m still intrigued whenever seeing new bits of trivia surfacing online. In my view, that makes my day more than giving the section of the public waiting for a Zack Snyder cut false hope – but it’s really only those bearing that surname who won’t cease doing so.

The subject for today’s discussion is actually that of a newly disclosed piece of concept art drawn by Jerad S. Marantz. Shared on his Instagram page, it shows what pilots in Steppenwolf’s Apokoliptian armada could’ve looked like. Though you may or may not dig it, the imagining can be seen below.

Of course, this wasn’t the only baddie from the Fourth World who’d been originally intended to appear, as Darkseid himself would’ve shown up in Snyder’s version of the film – albeit in a cameo setting up a sequel we’ll never see. Believe it or not, concept art showing off the intergalactic despot emerged late last year.

Tell us, would you have liked to have seen this pilot hailing from Apokolips in Justice League? Or were you perfectly fine with the Parademons and other minions of Steppenwolf we were treated to? As always, you’re encouraged to share your opinion in the comments section below, as it’ll probably be some time before this movie’s no longer a hot talking point.
