Over the weekend, we were told that we’d be getting some big reveals about Justice League today, and while nothing major has happened just yet, a number of set visit reports have been published online, giving us some additional details about Zack Snyder’s upcoming film.
Firstly, we’re hearing that there won’t be two parts anymore. In fact, the plan was always just to make Justice League one movie. That contradicts earlier reports, but when Empire spoke to Snyder’s wife Deborah, she said that they’re only doing one film.
Given that she’s a producer on Justice League, we tend to believe what she says, though it is odd that we’ve been told all along that there will be a Part One and Part Two. Hopefully we’ll have some firm confirmation on the matter soon, but right now it seems as if it will all be condensed into just one movie.
In addition to that, we’ve also got two new logos for the film, which can be seen in the gallery above along with a shot of the new Batmobile, and the first official plot synopsis, which you can view below:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Finally, the fine folks at Collider have put together a massive list of things they learned about the film during their set visit. There’s nothing too groundbreaking here, but what they’ve posted certainly paints a clearer picture of what to expect when Justice League opens in theatres on November 17th, 2017.
