Justice League To Be Condensed Into One Film, New Logo, Synopsis And Batmobile Revealed

Over the weekend we were told that we'd be getting some big reveals about Justice League today, and while nothing major has happened just yet, a number of set visit reports have been published online, giving us some additional details about Zack Snyder's upcoming film.

For starters, we now know that the film will take place a few months after Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will find Batman trying to assemble the team and get everyone to work together despite their very different personalities. Steppenwolf will be the main villain, and both the Mother Boxes and Parademons seen in BvS will also play a major role here.

In terms of tone, apparently things will be a lot lighter this time around, especially with characters like Cyborg and The Flash involved. Bats won’t be as serious either, as Affleck said that the version of the character in Justice League is “a little bit more sardonic, humor, a little more irony. He’s on a little more man on a mission this time. As opposed to like he was so full of anger because of what happened at the Black Zero Event. That kind of character, that sort of rage that possessed him. And now he’s on a mission to get this group together.”

Not only that, but the detective side of the Caped Crusader will be explored more in depth here as well:

“The world’s greatest detective aspect of Batman is more present in this story than it was in the last one, and will probably be expanded upon further in a Batman movie that I would do,” says Affleck. “I think all the great Batman stories are, at their heart, detective stories.”

Of course, many fans are wondering how and if Superman will factor into Justice League. While Collider couldn’t say for sure, they did mention that he’s certainly not in the first half of the film and may not return until the end. There’s also quite a bit about the new vehicles in their report, with mention of an upgraded Batmobile as well as new toys for the team to use, like the Flying Fox and the Nightcrawler.

For more, you can check out Collider’s full report here. There’s a ton of information to go through, but so far, it seems like the film might actually turn out alright, despite all the negative buzz it’s been getting. It’s clear that everyone’s aware of the mistakes that Batman V Superman made and is doing everything they can to course correct for the next DC adaptation.

We’re obviously a long ways off from knowing if Justice League truly will end up being a step in the right direction for the studio, but after reading Collider’s set visit report, along with a few others, we can safely say that we’re a lot more optimistic about the film than we previously were.
