With Justice League undergoing – apparently significant – reshoots, we’re starting to learn more and more about the new scenes being filmed by the day. Yesterday revealed that additional flashback sequences featuring Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman are being inserted into the movie and today, some new set photos tell us that the reshoots will add in more of Batman’s home city of Gotham.

Though not terribly revealing, one of the two shots features a very Gotham-like gargoyle holding up a shield reading ‘To Protect and Serve,’ and as you surely know, we’ve already seen this handsome fella on show in the trailer, where it looks like he sits atop the Gotham City Police Department. The second image, meanwhile, depicts the side of a car that’s marked as a Gotham Taxi.

Take a look at them both in the gallery below:

The Justice League reshoots are currently taking place in Bedfordshire, England. Affleck has been spotted on set recently as well, so it seems that, just as you might have guessed, these scenes will feature Batman returning to his hometown. It’s also possible that J.K. Simmons will feature in them as Commissioner Gordon – though that’s just a guess.

Helming these reshoots is The Avengers‘ Joss Whedon, who’s taking over as director on the movie since Zack Snyder was forced to step down due to a family tragedy. DC bosses have assured fans of Snyder, however, that Whedon will be following his predecessor’s vision and is only working on the project because Snyder asked him to in the first place. That said, it’s been revealed that Whedon was already aiding Warner Bros. with the film even before stepping up as director, so who knows what’s really going on behind the scenes.

Whatever the case may be, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher, among others, and arrives in theatres under the watchful eye of Joss Whedon on November 17th.
