Justice League: Henry Cavill Hangs Out With Some Real Heroes In New Photo

Henry Cavill took time out from Justice League to hang out with some real heroes as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Production continues to truck along on the London set of Justice League, but the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, recently took some time out from filming on Zack Snyder’s 2017 tentpole to hang out with two children as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Proving that not all heroes wear capes, Cavill swung by the UK arm of the charity, dressed to the nines as the Last Son of Krypton, to spend some quality time with some very brave kids. Word of the actor taking time out from Warner’s ensemble film hails from a photo on Cavill’s Instagram feed (which you can see below), revealing standees for the remainder of the DC heroes, including Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg and of course, Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader.

It’s been a busy fortnight in the Justice League camp, which all began with the unveiling of the Dark Knight’s technical Batsuit, before Zack Snyder introduced one and all to the new Commissioner Gordon, as portrayed by J.K. Simmons. All of this comes at a very crucial time for the studio, too.

After the back-to-back disappointments of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, the Powers That Be over at the studio have been candid in responding to those negative reviews – in short, there’s “room for improvement” – even if their PR speak skates around some of the real problems that hamstrung BvS and Suicide Squad from early on.

Expect Justice League to slam into theaters on November 17, 2017.
