Jason Momoa Says Zack Snyder’s Justice League Cut Is Better Than What We Got

What with DC and WB finally taking the plunge and releasing the very first trailer for Aquaman - which, by the way, has effectively made Arthur Curry the superhero of the hour - you’d figure the star of James Wan’s subaquatic superhero feature, Jason Momoa, would have more important matters to attend to rather than dwell on what could have been…evidently not.

Well, San Diego Comic-Con 2018 came and went and sadly, the Snyder cut of Justice League was nowhere to be seen. And while you’d think that would put an end to all of the hoopla surrounding an alternate version of the much-maligned supergroup movie, apparently, this is not the case.

What with DC and WB finally taking the plunge and releasing the very first trailer for Aquaman – which, by the way, has effectively made Arthur Curry the superhero of the hour – you’d figure that the star of James Wan’s subaquatic superhero feature, Jason Momoa, would have more important matters to attend to rather than dwell on what could’ve been…but evidently not.

On the heels of the “largest convention of its kind in the world,” Momoa – during a fan meet and greet, no less – reportedly shouted out, “Justice League was good, but Snyder’s cut is better.” Now, I don’t want to comment on that first part because, let’s face it, that’s a matter of opinion. And, truthfully speaking, it really wasn’t that good. However, it does sound like he’s confirming that the Snyder cut does indeed exist. Not only that, but it’s ostensibly “better” than what hit theaters.

Granted, as stated earlier, this was during a fan meet and greet, so the actor could’ve just been trying to work folks into a frenzy. Plus, he must’ve known full well that his remark would eventually make it onto the interweb, leading to more unnecessary fanbase stimulation.

I suppose we’ll never know now, will we, seeing that the likelihood of us ever getting the completed Snyder cut of Justice League can be compared to a snowball’s chance in hell, meaning it’s never going to happen. I know, it’s hard to hear, but the truth often does hurt.
