It’s going on five weeks since Disney unleashed the final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and that can mean only one thing – the deluge of intermittent TV spots has officially begun.
That presents a puzzling conundrum for ardent fans; for instance, do you indulge in each and every frame that the marketing campaign unveils? Or do you adopt the media blackout approach? Averting your gaze from any teasing snippet in fear of spoiling the full Rogue One experience that’s due to swoop into theaters in little over a month’s time.
[zergpaid]Of course, TV spots are designed more for the wider audience who perhaps aren’t all that familiar with the Gareth Edwards-directed spinoff, and up above, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) issuing a call to arms to her fellow Rebel fighters. Providing you’re a-okay with watching another Rogue One teaser before December 16, that is.
If you’re on the hunt for additional content for the imminent Star Wars anthology film, early last week Star Wars Aficionado unearthed a series of behind the scenes photos depicting life on set. Among them are fresh looks at alien weaponry, the vistas of Scarif and Edwards himself orchestrating the galactic action from behind the lens.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is booked in for theatrical release on December 16, 2016. In other news relating to the Star Wars universe, Kodak confirmed over the weekend that Star Wars: Episode IX, the 2019 sequel to be helmed by Jurassic World‘s Colin Trevorrow, will be shot on 65mm film.
