It can’t get any more star-studded than this. Upcoming comedy Movie 43 boasts over ten directors and many, many Hollywood stars. And today, thanks to The Film Stage, we have the first stills from the film.

The fim’s directors include, among others, Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, and Brett Ratner. Its cast includes – you ready?  – Kate Winslet, Halle Berry, Elizabeth Banks, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Josh Duhamel, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Chloe Moretz, Justin Long, Leslie Bibb, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Seann William Scott, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis and Uma Thurman. Quite an impressive ensemble cast, to say the least.

So far not much detail is known about the plot except that it’s “an ensemble comedy intertwining different tales.” Out of context, the stills below don’t really tell us much, either – but it does look like there will be a lot of over-the-top slapstick humour involved.

The film features Winslet and Stone, two of my favourite Hollywood ladies, and that alone is enough to make me want to see it. With so many stars, though, the movie may end up being a little overwhelming. Still, the photos are very promising thus far so who knows? This could end up being truly hilarious, especially with the talent involved.

Movie 43 hits theatres on January 25th, 2013.
