Keanu Reeves Is Back For More In First John Wick: Chapter 2 Trailer

It's not like Keanu Reeves is any stranger to the action genre, having starred in The Matrix trilogy and Speed, but he did disappear from the spotlight for quite a while, instead opting to star in mostly more low key affairs over the last several years (save for a couple of films).

In 2014, however, he returned to the genre that made him a star and gave us the unapologetic and high energy John Wick. It was a film that turned out to be way better than it had any right to be, and now, thanks to a healthy box office haul and a sizeable fanbase, we’re getting a sequel.

Enter John Wick: Chapter 2, the follow-up that once again brings Reeves back as the titular hitman in what looks to be another explosive outing. We were teased with a small bit of footage earlier in the week, but today at the New York Comic Con, Lionsgate gave us the full trailer during their panel, and boy is it glorious.

Surrounded by a stellar supporting cast that includes both old faces and new, in the form of Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, Laurence Fisburne, John Leguizamo and more, what we have here is a true balls to the walls thrill ride, complete with stylish action choreography (which appears to be sleeker than the original), furious fight scenes and a whole lot of Keanu Reeves looking mighty pissed. It’s exactly what we wanted from the sequel, and we can’t wait to see more.

John Wick: Chapter 2 shoots its way into theatres on February 10th, 2017. Take a look at the awesome first trailer above and comment below letting us know what you think of it.
