In the image, we see John himself holding out some rosary beads, and while we can only see the back of the person he’s speaking to, previous photos from the film can pretty much confirm that the woman in red is The Director, played by Anjelica Huston. One pic released just a couple of weeks ago even showed Reeves holding this exact prop while speaking across the table from Huston, who looked to be wearing the same outfit.

Last month, Reeves elaborated a little of the role that Huston will be playing in the John Wick trilogy’s final installment, explaining that the Royal Tenenbaums star plays “this Roma Ruska character,” and that her inclusion was part of a plan to introduce different tribes into the saga. It’s also said that The Director played an important role in John’s upbringing, with director Chad Stahelski claiming that the movie will serve as “a little bit of an origin story” for our hero.

Indeed, John’s travels will also bring him back into contact with another series newcomer he has a history with named Sofia. Halle Berry’s character is set to bring two new dogs into the franchise, both of whom are said to represent someone she’s lost, and knowing this series’ history, we’re as concerned for those canines as we are for John himself. Regardless, we’ll find out whose blood is spilled when John Wick 3: Parabellum hits theaters on May 17th, 2019.
