It’s been a popular theory for a while now that the next proper trailer for Avengers: Endgame might premiere during the 91st Academy Awards ceremony on February 24th, and with the big night now upon us, we’ll soon find out if all the theories and speculation were correct.

But even if this year’s Oscars don’t bring us any new footage from the hugely anticipated movie, fans can rest easy knowing that there is indeed another trailer on the way. Not that we ever thought there wouldn’t be, mind you, but with Endgame‘s April 26th release date quickly approaching and still no sign of a full-length preview, some had begun to wonder if Marvel might just decide to hold off on releasing any additional promos at this point for fear of spoiling too much.

Well, it turns out that’s not the case, as ComicBook.com caught up with Kevin Feige recently and asked him point blank when fans could expect to see some more footage. And though the Marvel Studios president wouldn’t give away an exact date, he did confirm that there’ll be at least one more trailer before release.

Despite all the buzz surrounding the Oscars, if we had to bet, we’d say that the next preview won’t arrive until after Carol Danvers makes her debut in Captain Marvel, so that the Endgame hype doesn’t overshadow the studio’s upcoming release. Not to mention by dropping it after CM, it’d also allow the trailer to somehow build on the revelations of that film.

In any case, we’ll see what Marvel brings to the Academy Awards later tonight – and for that matter, what the Academy brings to Marvel – when it kicks off at 8pm EST. And after that, you can catch Captain Marvel in theaters starting March 8th, followed by Avengers: Endgame on April 26th.
