Kevin Feige Confirms Stan Lee Has Another Cameo After Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is just a few days away from reaching cinemas, and among the many points of praise that early viewers have reported is the film’s tribute to the late Stan Lee, who passed away in November of last year. At the red carpet premiere for Captain Marvel, Feige reflected on the tradition of the Stan Lee cameo in an interview with Marvel Entertainment, confirming that we haven’t seen the last of the legendary comic book creator on our screens just yet.

“It became a national holiday when he was around on set, up through this movie and an upcoming one as well.”

Though Feige stopped short of specifying which film Lee will appear in after Captain Marvel, we can probably assume that he’s talking about either Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man: Far From Home. Whichever it is, there’s a good chance that this cameo will be the last of the bunch, seeing how Lee didn’t film a scene for Fox’s Dark Phoenix.

Regardless, there’s a case to be made that either Endgame or Far From Home would serve as a very fitting entry to end the tradition on. In the case of Endgame, the film serves as the culmination point for a cinematic universe that Stan Lee helped lay the foundations for, while Spider-Man remains arguably the man’s single most famous creation.

Either way, we’ll see what further tributes the MCU has lined up when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019, followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th.
