We’ve been hearing about the possibility of a third Kill Bill movie for years now, but nobody has ever given us anything solid to go on. Director Quentin Tarantino himself has gone back and forth about exactly how likely it is in the past, but in a new interview with Variety, he definitely seems to have planted his feet on the more hopeful side of the fence.
I’m not committing to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Bride made one more appearance before the whole thing is said and done…I am talking to Uma [Thurman] about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I’d written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use.
Of course, at the end of Kill Bill Vol. 2, Beatrix (Thurman) completed her mission and ended Bill’s (David Carradine) life  – but there was a seed planted for a continuation of the story in the first movie. When the vengeful Bride dispatches Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), her daughter Nikki witnesses it, and Thurman’s character tells her that if she “still feels sore about it someday,” that she can come find her.
Beatrix Kiddo vs. an older Nikki Green? Well, we’ll just have to see how it shakes out.
Tell us, would you like to see another Kill Bill movie, or are you satisfied with where they left things?
