Killer Croc Cracks A Smile In Behind-The-Scenes Suicide Squad Photos

Whether it's battling the elements or dealing with the prying eyes of fans, there are a myriad of obstacles ready to rear their head when a film decides to shoot on location. And for Suicide Squad, David Ayer's upcoming superhero flick has very much fallen foul to the latter predicament. Just yesterday, we brought you a slew of photos that showcased a scene between The Joker and Harley Quinn - Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, respectively - but now the focus has shifted to other members of Task Force X: Will Smith's Deadshot and Killer Croc.

Whether it’s battling the elements or dealing with the prying eyes of fans, there are a myriad of obstacles ready to rear their head when a film decides to shoot on location. And for Suicide Squad, David Ayer’s upcoming superhero flick has very much fallen foul to the latter predicament. Just yesterday, we brought you a slew of photos that showcased a scene between The Joker and Harley Quinn – Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, respectively – but now the focus has shifted to other members of Task Force X: Will Smith’s Deadshot and Killer Croc.

Filming is well underway on the streets of Toronto, Canada, and the pictures embedded above offer a rather candid, behind-the-scenes look at the Warner Bros. production, with one photo even showing Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s towering Killer Croc crack a smile. Other photos primarily focus on Smith’s Deadshot character (aka Floyd Lawton), who is yet to be glimpsed with the classic eye piece.

From what we gather, Suicide Squad is currently capturing a scene in which the titular band of crooks investigate an apparent plane crash in the vicinity. How exactly that filters into the plot remains to be seen, but given how far away the film is from release, don’t hold your breath for answers just yet.

Alongside Smith and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje are Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Walker) and Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), not to mention Raymond Olubawale, and model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress.

Suicide Squad will make its hotly-anticipated debut in a post-Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice world on August 5, 2016.
