Mr. LD, aka Larry David has joined the Farrelly brothers upcoming Three Stooges film. This is the second big name that the brothers have snagged recently as just last week we heard that Jane Lynch joined. Deadline reports that David will play Mother Mengele. Yup, that’s right, he’s playing a nun. Mother Mengele is “the unfortunate nun who runs the orphanage where the Stooges grow up and learn to create mayhem.”
With shooting starting this month, I think it’s safe to say that David is the last actor to join and rounds out a strong cast which includes the aforementioned Lynch along with Richard Jenkins, Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, Chris Diamantopoulos and Sofia Vergara. David will make a great addition to the cast and if you’ve seen his show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, you know how funny the guy is. He’s absolutely hilarious and I can’t wait to see what he brings to the film.
