Latest ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ promo has Marvel fans convinced it’s the next ‘No Way Home’

Scott's coming for you crown, Spidey.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is officially arriving next week, and following Monday’s red carpet premiere resulting in a wave of hugely positive first reactions, the hype has never been higher for the incoming threequel. And speaking of threequels, the latest promo to arrive for the movie is unveiling even more fresh footage that’s getting fans so excited they are going to so far as to compare it to the golden child of the MCU’s post-Endgame era — Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The new teaser, which you can check out above, reminds us that we now have just 10 days to go until the Multiverse Saga really begins once Jonathan Majors’ Kang finally arrives on the scene. The clip in which the conquering villain declares “I am KANG!”, in particular, is giving folks chills in the comments to the original YouTube video. Many are voicing their belief that this could be one of Marvel’s best ever movies to date.

“Besides No Way Home, this looks like the biggest top tier movie since Endgame,” writes user Darth SpiderMaul 2001, in one of the most upvoted comments. Meanwhile, atish zola is convinced this will be “one of the biggest” MCU flicks we’ve ever seen. Then there’s THExKEVIN11 who admits they’re “getting the same feelings” they had with No Way Home from this trailer, although they’re terrified that “this really is Antman’s [sic] endgame.”

Everyone being supremely hyped while also not being able to shake the gnawing suspicion that something tragic is about to happen? Yup, that sounds a lot like No Way Home, which memorably combined its Spider-Versal crossovers with the death of Aunt May and Peter Parker’s heartbreaking new status quo. Nevetherless, Scott Lang has some big Spidey shoes to fill if Quantumania is going to match the quality of No Way Home. We’ll find out how it measures up come Feb. 17.
