There’s truly no better gift than when an A-List celebrity gets candid about a show that was canceled, possibly being brought back from the dead. This essentially occurred during an interview between Deadline and Mads Mikkelsen, where the Hannibal star insisted that the mind-blowing series could return if the show can find a new home. Just when one Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey slasher flick felt like too much, it turns out the future of two Cinderella slashers is definite overkill. While Cinderella’s Curse has been confirmed for some time now, Cinderella’s Revenge is now coming to compete right alongside. Without a doubt, the horror genre has been consistently pumping out an assortment of fantastic content over the last several years — especially 2022 and 2023, in particular. That being said, fresh-faced horror comedy The Blackening is amongst the best out there right now, with the brand-new movie debuting with a positive 81 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. That’s certainly not unheard of in the genre as of late, but it’s definitely an encouraging sign to know that the wheels of horror are still turning in a good way.

Slither back in for next Friday, gorehounds, for a brand-new weekly horror roundup.
