“Marvel is out, Michael Myers is in,” as echoed so poetically by WGTC’s Jordan Collins. As of late, it’s certainly no secret that the MCU and newly-reformed DCU are suffering at the box office — all while horror spectacles such as The Boogeyman and Evil Dead Rise are enjoying excellent outings and earning significant praise. As two of the most recognizable names in the horror genre, it makes perfect sense as to why Stephen King would feel such sorrow in regard to the strong possibility of Bruce Campbell facing retirement. Over on his official Twitter account, the Evil Dead veteran expressed the possibility of retiring, seeing as he just turned 65 years old. Without skipping a beat, King swooped in to completely reject the idea — only for Bruce Campbell to offer a cheeky reply by adhering to King’s request. Gotta love these two!

As the star of one of the most popular zombie-like shows of the past decade, it’s no major surprise that Pedro Pascal would want to voice his choice for which zombie horror flick completely reinvigorated the genre. Unsurprisingly, Pascal selected 28 Days Later — a post-apocalyptic extravaganza that inspired a plethora of other zombie classics. Of course, other staples such as Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead come to mind, but Pascal rightfully isn’t moving from his opinion.

Sink your teeth back in here next Friday, King supporters, for a brand-new horror roundup.
