Even if your interest in the gaming industry begins and ends with mild curiosity, you’ll no doubt have caught wind of the ongoing Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. Otherwise known as simply E3, for four-to-five days, the LA Convention Center becomes the video game capital of the world with each year that passes, and undoubtedly one of the biggest titles in attendance at E3 2017 is Star Wars Battlefront II.

EA and DICE’s shooter sequel is on course to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC in November, neatly dovetailing with the oncoming launch of The Last Jedi. And just like Rogue One before it, DICE has nailed down plans for additional content featuring some of the characters and locales that will soon crop up in Rian Johnson’s movie sequel – Finn and Captain Phasma are set to become playable heroes, for instance, while multiplayer maps based on Crait and D’Qar will be added soon after launch as part of Battlefront II‘s Season Pass.

But there’s one image, in particular, that’s been doing the rounds over the weekend, and it involves Rey, the fan-favorite Jedi played by Daisy Ridley. First spotted by /Film, a leaked screenshot from Star Wars Battlefront II suggests Rey is about to build her own Lightsaber in The Last Jedi – a rite of passage for the Force-sensitive knights – after returning Anakin Skywalker’s Lightsaber to its rightful owner in The Force Awakens.

It’s far from official, but the hilt is slightly different to what we’re used to, not to mention the fact that it’s labeled as ‘Rey’s Lightsaber.’ Assuming this turns out to be true, it’d be another interesting facet in Rey’s training process, as she learns the way of the Jedi under the tutelage of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is penciled in for release on December 15th – December 14th for those in the UK – so stay tuned for more. Battlefront II, meanwhile, will be with us on November 17th.
