Leaked Screenshots From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hit The Web

We're less than a day away now from the premiere of the first trailer for Jonathan Liebesman's live-action reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Everyone has been eagerly anticipating the first official glimpse of what the turtles will end up looking like when they hit the screen. While we still don't have a full-on shot of our beloved green heroes, today has seen a couple of official images from the film leak online, one of which gives us a pretty good look at what appears to be Raphael smashing into a car.

We’re less than a day away now from the premiere of the first trailer for Jonathan Liebesman’s live-action reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Everyone has been eagerly anticipating the first official glimpse of what the turtles will end up looking like when they hit the big screen. While we still don’t have a full-on shot of our beloved green heroes, today has seen a couple of official images from the film leak online, one of which gives us a pretty good look at what appears to be Raphael smashing into a car.

Also included in today’s goodies are a few more shots of April O’Neil (Megan Fox) involved in what look like some rough situations, one of which includes her cameraman Vernon Fenwick (Will Arnett). The other two are a basic teaser poster for the film and a low-res look at the 3D glasses that will presumably be handed out at the theatre. Unfortunately, the picture for the latter is of too low quality to make out how the turtles look.

As I mentioned, we’ll soon be able to see the teaser trailer for ourselves, and if the word of mouth we’ve been hearing is true, then we’ll be in for something rather impressive. Of course, many people still have their hesitations for a project like this. In fact, anyone who grew up with the classic cartoon probably freaked out when they heard that a new live-action film was being made, and that Michael Bay was on-board as a producer.

To make things even more questionable, there’s the fact that Megan Fox doesn’t exactly posses much talent, though we all know that that’s not why she was hired for the part. Who knows, perhaps the trailer will help alleviate some of these concerns. I mean, we also get William Fichtner as Shredder. How bad could it be?

Be sure to join us tomorrow for full coverage of the trailer premiere. In the meantime, check out the screenshots and other materials below and let us know what you think in the comments.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hits theaters on August 8th.
