Leaked Wonder Woman 1984 Photo Shows Off Diana’s New Costume

San Diego Comic-Con this year has been very good to DC fans. Not only did we get our first trailers for Aquaman and Shazam!, the crowd gathered in Hall H for the Warner Bros. panel were also treated to a sneak peak at the other DC movie that's on the way - Wonder Woman 1984. Seeing as the sequel is so far away at the moment, WB haven't released the clip officially. However, as always, things still end up online by other means.

San Diego Comic-Con this year has been very good to DC fans. Not only did we get our first trailers for Aquaman and Shazam!, but the crowd gathered in Hall H for the Warner Bros. panel were also treated to a sneak peak at the other DC movie that’s on the way – Wonder Woman 1984Seeing as the sequel’s still so far off in the distance though, WB haven’t released the clip online, but a leaked screenshot from it has now surfaced, which you can check out down below.

As you can see, it features Diana Prince walking through a typically 80s-style shopping mall in full Wonder Woman regalia. Unfortunately, the photo isn’t of the highest quality, but it does make clear that the heroine’s costume is a heck of a lot brighter in WW84 compared to the more subdued version seen in her three previous appearances.

Check it out for yourself in the gallery below:

If you’re interested in the rest of the clip, here’s what was shown to those in attendance at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday:

Wonder Woman lands in the mall in full costume, with a little girl saying oh my gosh as Wonder Woman tosses her into a plush bear while apprehending two gunmen and crushing their guns. She hips her lasso around them runs the other direction and less off the platform to the level below. Then she runs down the street in full dash mode in full costume. Clip ends.

The Wonder Woman 1984 presentation also included a talk with director Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, where Gadot explained that WW84 “isn’t a sequel” and is instead a “a new chapter.” Presumably, the actress means that her second DC solo movie will have its own tone and storyline rather than following on directly from the narrative of the first film.

That said, Wonder Woman 1984 will still see the miraculous return of Diana’s love Steve Trevor, somehow resurrected and now in the 1980s despite seemingly dying at the end of the first film during World War I. We’ll get our answers as to how this is possible when the sequel new chapter releases in theaters on November 1st, 2019.
