Lee Pace is set to return as Kree villain Ronan the Accuser for the first time since his MCU debut in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy in next year’s Captain Marvel. As the studio’s keeping any and all details about Brie Larson’s much-anticipated first solo movie as Carol Danvers under lock and key, the actor’s now taken to Twitter to tease his upcoming return to the franchise.

Pace shared a video of himself walking through a sun-drenched location in the south of France – as one smart fan noticed in the comments, he’s near the Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman structure. In the vacation clip, The Hobbit star’s wearing a Captain Marvel cap, no doubt gifted to those involved with the production. It features the film’s official logo on the back and Danvers’ emblem on the front.

Ronan will be returning in Captain Marvel alongside his old Guardians co-star Djimon Hounsou, who plays Korath the Pursuer, Ronan’s henchman. If you’re wondering how the pair are back after being killed off while fighting Star-Lord and co. in their previous appearance, that’s because the film’s a prequel set in the 1990s and is expected to see the legendary Kree/Skrull war come to Earth.

In an interview from a few months ago, Pace admitted that he was “excited to back” as the blue-faced bad guy but couldn’t confirm anything else when pressed for details on what we can expect from his role in Captain Marvel.  “I know nothing, I don’t know anything,” he said at the time. “I wish I could tell you all the secrets, but I don’t know any secrets!”

Captain Marvel is full of familiar faces as the titular hero will be joined by both Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg, reprising their fan favorite roles as S.H.I.EL.D. director Nick Fury and beloved agent Phil Coulson, respectively. What kind of part they’ll play in the proceedings remains unknown, but we’ll see how all these pieces fit together when Carol Danvers blasts into cinemas on March 8th.
