No, Logan doesn’t feature a post-credits scene – but James Mangold’s R-rated actioner comes packing the next best thing: a fleeting teaser for Deadpool 2.

News of the top-secret trailer emerged online late last night, when /Film not only confirmed the teaser’s existence, but also what it includes. Now, you’ll be able to see what all the fuss is about for yourself. We’ve included an embed up above, but the bootleg footage likely won’t hang around for long, so watch it while you still can!

Featuring Ryan Reynolds back in costume as the Merc With a Mouth, the stinger opens with a pair of goons wrestling in the street. Cloaked under a black hoody a la Luke Cage, Deadpool then decides to intervene, at which point our foul-mouthed anti-hero makes a beeline for the nearest phone booth to change into his iconic red costume. Not all goes according to plan, though.

By the time Wade Wilson slips into his superhero guise, gunfire has erupted in the nearby alleyway. Cue the heroic slow-motion jog towards the action – but, as Deadpool arrives on the scene, one man has already bit the bullet. It’s at this point Ryan Reynolds’ character smashes through the fourth wall to address the audience directly, before the teaser ends with the line: “Deadpool…coming…not soon enough.”

Pretty neat, right? We should stress that not all territories are screening the Deadpool 2 teaser with Logan. Online reports (via Trailer Track) suggest that China, Indonesia, Egypt and Australia are among those countries that don’t show the sizzle reel.

Circling back to Logan, though, and at long lost it claws its way into theaters today, March 3rd. James Mangold’s threequel heralds the final chapter in Wolverine’s saga and, buoyed by stellar reviews, is well on its way to a sizeable opening weekend at the box office. Early estimations place the film’s initial haul in the region of $170 million worldwide, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted as the weekend unfolds. So far, though, it’s certainly looking good.
