Instagram account @DCIsrael shared the pic, which sees Robbie posing with her trusty mallet in a costume consisting of a gold jumpsuit with suspenders, pink tank top and elaborate necklace. We’ve seen glimpses of this look in set photos already and it’s also similar to the other colorful outfit we’ve seen Harley wear in the teaser trailer (see above).

As you may’ve heard, Harley will be going at it alone in BoP. Judging by set pics, it seems the film will feature a big bust-up between Quinn and her Puddin’, which may allow for a cameo for the Joker, though he’s not expected to be played by Jared Leto. Once on her own, Harley will make some unlikely friends in Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) as they try to rescue Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from the villainous Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). Meanwhile, Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) is on the anti-heroines’ trail.

It seems Warner Bros. has high hopes for the Cathy Yan-directed film, as we’ve heard the studio is already eyeing solo movies for the Birds. Plus, they still have plans for much more of Robbie in the DCEU. We’re pretty sure she’ll return for The Suicide Squad, after debuting as Harley in 2016’s Suicide Squad, and there’s talk of that Harley Quinn and the Joker flick, too.

Up first though is Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emanci… ah, never mind, you know the rest), which will hopefully prove to be a success when it hits theaters on February 7th, 2020.
