Now another top notch actor has joined, ensuring us that Webb's reboot of the series is going to be awesome.

Marc Webb’s Spider-Man is shaping up pretty nicely. With a cast that already includes Andrew Garfield (The Social Network), Emma Stone (Easy A) and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill), worries about the film should be all but gone. Now another top notch actor has joined, ensuring us that Webb’s reboot of the series is going to be awesome.

The latest actor to sign on is Martin Sheen (The West Wing) and he’ll take the role of Uncle Ben. Sheen is a fantastic actor who I think is perfect for the role. If the J.J. Jameson role goes to Mad Men’s John Slattery, as previously rumored, this could turn out to be one hell of a cast.
