I can’t believe it’s finally – finally – almost time to find out what delights are inside Avengers: Endgame. After the shocking ending of Infinity War, spring 2019 seemed like an age away. And yet, little by little, the film started inching onto our radars. First came some leaked promo art, then that long-delayed trailer and title reveal, and now finally, it’s just days away from hitting domestic cinemas (and is already screening in some international territories).
It’s difficult to imagine people getting more hyped than they already are for Endgame, but Marvel’s marketing team aren’t resting on their laurels just yet. Today, they’ve released a new promo reminding us (as if we needed reminding) that the film is out in just three days, and you can give it a watch up above.
Granted, there’s no fresh footage in this TV spot, but it’s a nicely edited countdown showing the heroes in their Quantum Realm outfits, presumably before they enter the mysterious dimension in order to do something crucial in the fight against Thanos.
Now, I’m fully aware that there may be some of you who already know exactly what this trip entails and why they’re in these outfits, but I’m trying very hard to remain spoiler-free until my butt is in that cinema seat at the end of the week. We’ve already seen very positive impressions of the movie from those that were at the premiere last night, and I’d love for the film to surprise me in the same way Infinity War did with its finale.
But, in the meantime, all we have to do is wait and be very careful about what we look at on social media where, no doubt, some awful people are busy blaring out Avengers: Endgame spoilers left and right. But with just three days to go, I should be able to avoid the worst of it…right?
