Marvel fans name their dream cameos for ‘Doctor Strange 2’

Marvel fans are naming their top three dream cameos they want to see in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.'

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home blowing the doors open to the multiverse, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to see the eponymous sorcerer hop across the different realities. What this means is that fans are fully expecting Doctor Strange 2 to be stuffed with cameos from both familiar faces from the MCU and legacy stars from other Marvel franchises. But, if you could only pick three, which three cameos would you pick?

That’s the tough question that Twitter account @DrStrangeUpdate posed in a tweet that’s gone viral. The attached image gives fans a variety of options to choose from, ranging from the plausible — like Tom Hiddleston’s Loki — to those we’d really love to see — Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine — to the really, really wild — the Doctor Strange from the old 70s TV movie. As you’d imagine, folks went for all kinds of different combinations.

Solid choices.

Now that’s a trio.

Nice reasoning.

Having Halle Berry back as Storm, Chris Evans return as Human Torch and Anya Taylor-Joy hop over as Magik from The New Mutants would be pretty epic.

As you can see, Ghost Rider, Agatha, Magik, and Blade are some of the most popular picks.

For some people, however, the cameos don’t really matter as they want Sam Raimi’s sequel to focus on Benedict Cumberbatch’s Master of Mystic Arts and his evil variant.

Other frequent choices included Professor X and Magneto, either the Stewart/McKellen versions or the McAvoy/Fassbender ones, as well as Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker, following his big comeback in No Way Home. There’s certainly a lot of hope that Doctor Strange 2 will be the one to finally introduce the X-Men into the MCU, then, and fans definitely want it to top the thrills of the recent Spider-Man flick.

We’ll find out what it has to offer when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in theaters this May 6.
