A few weeks back, we learnt that Marvel Studios will release a short film titled Item 47 and it will be attached to The Avengers Blu-Ray.

After information leaked about the one-shot film, fans of Marvel’s movie universe have been waiting for more details. Ever wonder what happened to all the alien weapons after the team closed the portal at the end of the film? Well, now fans will have their answer. Thanks to EW, we have the first plot details on the upcoming one-shot.

Item 47 will feature a couple, Claire (Lizzy Caplan) and Benny (Jesse Bradford), who find one of the weapons. The two make some rash decisions with their new-found toy which some dutiful S.H.I.E.L.D. agents – played by Maximiliano Hernández and Titus Welliver – will have to clean up, and stop. Their mission is to return the gun-like weapon named item 47 to safe hands.

Sounds like a fun way for fans to get more out of the Marvel universe and having been a fan of Marvel’s previous one-shot films, I’m definitely looking forward to this one.

The Avengers Blu-Ray will hit store shelves on September 25th!
