Earlier this week, Paramount revealed an all-new look at its upcoming blockbuster sequel Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, showcasing some of the bat-shit insane stunts within Christopher McQuarrie's ambitious actioner. Now, the studio has ensured the marketing pizzazz keeps trucking along with a rather stylish new poster for the film, which takes more than a few cues from Marvel's M.O..

With the IMF now scattered across the globe, Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt becomes the hunted along with his crew of super-spies. Tracked by a team of highly-skilled agents known as The Syndicate, it’s understood that Rogue Nation‘s main threat will be headed up by Sean Harris’ big bad. Throughout the franchise’s history, those villainous shoes have been filled by Jon Voight, Dougray Scott, and the late, great Phillip Seymour-Hoffman – so, yeah, no pressure.

Rounding out the cast list for McQuarre’s spy sequel are Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, and newcomers Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson. In 2011, Brad Bird’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol stormed to $694 million at the worldwide box office, could Rogue Nation be the first entry in the longrunning series to crack a billion? Time will tell.

Tom Cruise’s super-spy will be called into action once more when Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation blasts into theaters on July 30.

With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.
