FilmDistrict has released some new promotional material this week for their upcoming comedy That Awkward Moment, which is due out on January 31st. Starring Miles Teller, Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan, the film tells the story of three friends who make a pact with each other to stay single as they navigate through the NYC social scene.

Finding its way onto the Black List in 2010, the R-rated comedy sounds pretty promising. Teller and Jordan are both incredibly in-demand at the moment, thanks to awards worthy performances in The Spectacular Now and Fruitvale Station, respectively. Efron is no slouch either. I thought he did a really great job in the recent Parkland (which unfortunately wasn’t too well received) and he’s making a serious effort to create a name for himself in Hollywood as a bonafide leading man.

That Awkward Moment doesn’t look like it will be holding back on the laughs, as judging by the footage we’ve seen so far, the film seems as if it will wear its R rating proudly, offering some mature and at times raunchy humor, which is exactly what audiences will be looking for during the cold winter months that lie ahead.

To help build excitement for the upcoming release, FilmDistrict has delivered several new photos for you to feast your eyes on. There’s nothing too revealing here, just some additional looks at the cast in action, but it’s nice to get another peek at what we’re in for come January 31st.

Check out the photos below and then head to the comments and let us know if you’re looking forward to catching That Awkward Moment when it hits theatres next month.
