For a film director that continually flirts with the idea of an early retirement, Steven Soderbergh certainly hasn’t lost his ability to attract a star-studded cast. His latest, a NASCAR heist drama known as Logan Lucky, has just added Sebastian Stan (The Martian, Captain America: Civil War) to its stacked ensemble.

Just in time, too, considering that Soderbergh’s feature is already in active production in Atlanta, where Stan will join Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane, Riley Keough and Alien: Covenant’s Katherine Waterston for a pulse-pounding story revolving around two brothers out to stage a daring heist during one of the biggest NASCAR events on the sporting calendar.

As for Stan’s role in Logan Lucky, THR notes that the MCU stalwart is attached to the part of a three-time Sprint Cup Champion NASCAR driver who is aiming to make a big splash following some time away from the race tracks.

Beyond that, little is known about how Soderbergh will arrange his enviable ensemble, but set photos emerging from Atlanta (via BuzzFeed) do offer an early peek at Daniel Craig in costume, replete with peroxide hair and tattoos – less 007 and more scruffy con man with one eye trained on the loot.

Logan Lucky is being angled for theatrical release in 2017. The following year, Stan will then reprise his role as Bucky Barnes for Avengers: Infinity War. It’ll bow on May 4, 2018.
