First up is a pic of Carol herself opposite her friend and Air Force comrade Maria Rambeau, played by Lashana Lynch. Maria is thought be a significant addition to the Marvel saga, not just for her connections to Captain Marvel but also because her daughter Monica is believed to have a heroic future of her own ahead of her. Of course, the new set of images also includes a Carol solo picture, displaying the MCU’s most powerful hero in her classic red and blue costume.

Meanwhile, we have a couple of stills featuring several members of the Starforce. The blue-faced fellow with a beard is Bron-Char, played by Rune Temte, who can be seen opposite Minn-Erva, played by Gemma Chan. In the second of the two Starforce images is Jude Law’s character, whose identity remains officially unconfirmed, but is widely believed to be Yon-Rogg. Beyond that, we have a photo of Lee Pace, who makes his first appearance as Ronan the Accuser since 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and speaking of villains, the final pic shows a pair of Skrulls, including Ben Mendelsohn’s character Talos.

Of course, the cast list for the upcoming flick goes well beyond the figures featured above, including such MCU veterans as Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg, reprising their roles as Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, respectively. We’ll find out if Captain Marvel has any other familiar faces in the mix when the film hits theaters on on March 8th, 2019.
