Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is now playing in theaters across the US, but we’re still getting some last-minute sneak peeks at James Gunn’s riotous sequel. This latest clip comes to us courtesy of Good Morning America, and gives us our first official look at Sylvester Stallone’s character: Stakar Ogord aka Starhawk.

In the clip, Yondu (Michael Rooker) confronts Stakar after his old boss exiled him from the main group of Ravagers for his shady dealings with Ego. It seems the ruthless gang of criminals do have a code, and they draw the line at child slavery. Stakar definitely isn’t pleased with Yondu here, but he does show up again towards the end of the movie with a slightly better opinion of the blue-skinned mercenary. Just in case you haven’t seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 yet, we won’t say why.

The Starhawk comic book character was retconned to be a Ravager for the purposes of this film, but there’s still a strong indication that he has ties to an older version of the Guardians, so it’ll be interesting to see if he returns for the recently announced Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, or factors into the studio’s plans for the cosmic side of the MCU going forward.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is off to a great start so far at the domestic box office and is expected to continue to bust blocks well into a very successful theatrical run. If you’ve already seen the film – which we imagine you have – be sure to drop a comment down below letting us know what you thought of it.
