New Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Trailer Dazzles Once Again

A new trailer for Sony's Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has swung online today and though it doesn't have much fresh footage, we continue to be dazzled by the film.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse looks absolutely fantastic. Everything we saw in last month’s stunning trailer blew our socks clean off, leaving us counting down the days until it swings into theaters this December.

For those who don’t know, the movie follows 13-year-old rookie Spider-Man Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as he’s tutored in the finer arts of Spider-manning by the slightly disheveled looking Peter Parker. If you’ve seen any footage, you’ll know that Into the Spider-Verse is witty, fast-paced and the animated style is straight up beautiful, and that’s all on display once again in the latest promo for the film, which can be seen up above.

Though there’s not much in the way of fresh material here, it’s still another dazzling look at what’s shaping up to be one of 2018’s most anticipated releases. At least, for fans of the webhead. And while recently expressing their excitement at bringing audiences a new version of Spider-Man, here’s what producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller had to say:

We can’t wait for the world to see Miles Morales on the big screen. He’s such a fun and exciting new character, and telling his story through a revolutionary visual style makes for a totally fresh cinematic experience that, if we may say so, is freaking amazing.

Plot details have been kept tightly under wraps, but we know that three classic Spidey villains will appear in the animated effort. First, Miles’ uncle on the wrong side of the law, the Prowler, will be voiced by Mahershala Ali (Moonliight). Norman Osborn/Green Goblin is also expected to turn up, likely played by Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), and last but not least, the Kingpin looks to be showing his bald head as well.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and swings into theaters on December 14th. Tell us, are you as impressed as we are with this new trailer? Make yourself heard down below.
