If you’re looking for more info on how this squad comes about and how these four uneasy allies are able to put their squabbles aside to foil Cate Blanchett’s evil villainess, we’ve got just the thing. Earlier today, Marvel released a new featurette for the threequel which focuses on exactly that. Give it a watch below!

So, is this the birth of a new superhero team that we’ll be seeing lots more of? Well, no, probably not. However, though the Revengers will likely be a one-and-done deal, we’re bound to see all of these characters again very soon. Three out of the four have been 100% confirmed to reappear in Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, while Tessa Thompson is also heavily rumoured to be reprising her role as Valkyrie in the mega-movies. This time, though, Thor’s ragtag group will be part of a much bigger army – including the Avengers, the Guardians and the rest of the MCU’s assorted heroes – battling against Thanos.

Thor: Ragnarok is earning hugely positive reviews so far and is expected to earn a hefty opening weekend at the box office. Catch it when it arrives in US cinemas on November 3rd.
