Finally, we now have some news on Nolan’s next Batman film. In a recent interview, the secretive director revealed that the film will be called The Dark Knight Rises and despite rumors and speculation, the Riddler will not be the villain.

Not much more information was made known. The director answered questions cryptically with statements like the following:

“We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,”

So now with Riddler and Mr.Freeze both confirmed by Nolan as not being in the film, who will the villain be? Could those Killer Croc rumors be true?

As for the title, well it’s not exactly original but I guess it’s alright. Kind of sounds corny but a title doesn’t exactly make a film so it’s fine.
