Next Justice League Trailer Coming Soon, Says Gal Gadot

Last weekend the Super Bowl brought with it a ton of exciting trailers for some of 2017's biggest films. We got previews for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Transformers: The Last Knight and many, many more. With a new trailer rumored to be arriving back in December, fans had assumed that Warner Bros. was instead saving it for the big game when it failed to emerge at the end of last year. Not only that, but with The LEGO Batman Movie swooping into theaters this weekend, it was also expected that new footage from Snyder’s upcoming blockbuster would be attached to the studio’s spinoff. Obviously, neither of those panned out and here we are, less than a year away from the release of arguably one of the biggest and most important films Warner Bros. has ever made and still, we’ve seen very little from it.

We’ve heard in the past that the studio may be waiting until the spring to debut the next preview, possibly even dropping it at this year’s Comic-Con, but now, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has hinted that it could arrive before then. While answering fans on Facebook last week, the actress noted that while there would be nothing shown during the Super Bowl, a new trailer will be with us “soon.” Cue the speculation!

Now, “soon” could mean several different things. It could mean in a few weeks or even a few months. But, given that we’re still in February, it wouldn’t make sense for Gadot to say that the trailer will be here “soon” if Warner Bros. were planning to wait until June/July to deliver it. Going by what we’ve heard before, since spring runs from March to June, perhaps we’ll be seeing it around April? That would still put it in the rumored timeframe while also lining up with the actress’ comments about it being here “soon,” as that’s only a few months away now.

Regardless, it seems that we won’t be waiting until Comic-Con to get the next trailer, which is what some fans have been speculating. Our guess is around April/May, but at this stage, the studio hasn’t given us an official date yet and all we can do is play the guessing game. That being said, you have to imagine that with a release this big, not to mention one that has so much riding on it, they’ll want to start promoting it sooner rather than later, especially before the summer when there will be more than enough blockbusters out there all fighting for our attention.

For now, we’ll just have to wait and see how this pans out. It’s important to note though that we have been getting a bunch of exciting new stills from the film over the past little while, which usually indicates that a trailer isn’t too far off. Again, we’d peg it to land in April/May, but until we hear more, feel free to take to the comments section down below and let us know when you think we’ll be getting our next look at Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
