No, Disney is not making a ‘Goon to a Goblin’ movie with Lil’ Wayne, but fans say ‘take my money’ anyway

Disney F. Baby?

Disney/Pixar fans were stopped in their tracks as they scrolled through TikTok this afternoon and happened upon a “teaser” for an upcoming film featuring Lil Wayne, and it only got better when we noticed the title: Goon to a Goblin.

Weezy fans recognize the lyric from his fan-favorite song, “A Milli,” and the video was immediately captivating. For a few moments in time, fans thought this might actually be an upcoming project, but dreams were quickly dashed as a perusal of the comments proved to us that the creator Dusty Monroe isn’t just talented with AI Technology, he’s also phenomenal at getting our hopes up and then dropping them.

So, as we experienced one of the most Monday of Mondays, we were a little distraught that the movie won’t become a reality in the near future. We’ve been riding the Weezy F. Baby train since Tha Block Is Hot, and, personally, I would have watched this movie as often as I rewatch The Summer I Turned Pretty — and the number of times I’ve rewatched Conrad ask Belly if she memorizes every single thing that he’s ever said is astronomical.

Many TikTokers were overjoyed by the video, even sharing their excitement in comments beneath it. The excited creator responded to many of them, and you’d be wise to bet on the fact that people across the world are hoping that this project comes to fruition in some way.

Many agree that this movie would totally destroy the box office, and rightfully so.

You’re in good company if you happen to be one of the TikTokers who thought this was an actual project.

Our minds are running wild with ideas about what Goon to a Goblin could be about.

Of course, it’s nothing but an AI-generated idea by Monroe, but that doesn’t stop us from dreaming. We’d love to see an animated project featuring Wayne, and as some other TikTokers said; there are certainly platforms in which it could exist. Here’s hoping he sees the excitement from his fan base and gets his creative ideas flowing.
