Official Synopsis Arrives For Marvel’s Ant-Man

Paul Rudd Ant-man

With principal photography on Marvel’s Ant-Man coming to an end this week, the post-production work begins. The mammoth task of compiling live-action footage together with the CGI components is but one element of that process. Perhaps the biggest matter for the studio to contend with is audience awareness. Ant-Man is arguably one of their zanier properties, that doesn’t yet carry the same household name weight as The Avengers or Iron Man. To ensure the moviegoing public know exactly who this little guy is come next summer, the marketing machine has fired out the first official synopsis.

Running down the events we can expect to see in the comic book caper, it confirms a slew of cast members who were previously only rumoured to be involved. The most interesting part is the writing credit; which currently says TBD. After original writer-director Edgar Wright left the project, the script was given an overhaul by a roster of names attached to the film. So, it’ll be intriguing to see who winds up with the honour.

You can check out the synopsis in full below, and prepare for the arrival of Ant-Man on July 17th, 2015.
