If you’ve seen the 2005 hit comedy Wedding Crashers, you’ll know that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn make a pretty good match. The two work extremely well together and given the fact that their last effort was a very, very humorous one, we’re thrilled to see them teaming up again for The Internship, directed by Shawn Levy.

In the film, Wilson and Vaughn star as two middle-aged men who get hired by Google as interns. From there, hilarity and shenanigans ensue as they try to prove their worth to ultimately land a full time job with the company. That’s the basic plot, and I wouldn’t expect it to go much deeper than that. For this kind of film though, that’s perfectly fine.

A film like The Internship relies on its comedy and gags and from the looks of this trailer, both of those will be present in the film. I’ll be honest, I laughed out loud more than a couple times while watching the preview and I just love Wilson and Vaughn’s chemistry. Seeing them back on screen together is great and while I admit that this is the same type of film that these two have been making forever now, if the formula works, then why change it? Wilson and Vaughn are good at what they do and I’m more than happy to watch them on screen anytime they make one of these comedies.

Plus, it’s neat to see behind the doors of Google, or at least what the filmmakers imagine it to be like. As you may or may not know, Google is a, well, different kind of company to work for, they take a different approach to the workplace, or so we’re told. So to see what working for the company may be like is definitely interesting.

Co-starring Rose Byrne, Dylan O’Brien, John Goodman, Max Minghella, Jessica Szohr and Will Ferrell, The Internship will hit theatres on June 7th.
