The film, which is based on the beloved French cartoon, already has overwhelmingly positive reviews – but seriously – how can you go wrong with Spielberg/Jackson project? It’s no surprise that two sequels are already in the works.

Jackson produced this time around, but he said he plans to direct the second film after he finishes The Hobbit, according to Indie Wire.

I remember Tintin used to be on Nickelodeon when I was little. I thought it was really boring at the time, but with Spielberg and Jackson at the helm I’m sure I can keep my focus at the movie theater.
