Today we have two new photos from the upcoming action flick The Expendables 2. They both feature Sylvester Stallone and new addition to the crew Yu Nan. Neither reveal too much but it really doesn’t look like the sequel to 2010’s smash hit will be veering too far off the path of familiarity.
Expect more action, more gunplay, more explosions and more macho-ness. In other words, fans of the original should be pleased. Personally, I had a great time watching The Expendables and I’m fully on board for a sequel, despite the fact that it will likely be pretty similar to what we saw in the original.
Along with Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Terry Crews return, with Liam Hemsworth and Yu Nan also joining the cast. The Expendables 2 will hit theatres on August 17th.
